My research focuses on how governance structures, such as independent board leadership, can safeguard against stock crash risks. I also explore the interplay between identity factors, such as gender, and their influence on behavioral biases in economic decision-making.

Before my Ph.D., I advanced to Associate Director and Senior Trader for structured notes at Germany's second-largest bank, building on roles I held in Hong Kong and Singapore. My industry experience also includes stints in equity capital markets at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and quantitative portfolio management at Assenagon in Munich.
